About The Position

True Classic is hiring a hands-on, technically rigorous Data & Analytics Engineer to help own its data platform infrastructure and connect the data warehouse to AI, finance, and business stakeholder teams. The role supports core analytics engineering functions by building clean, well-structured, reliable data pipelines according to best practices for pipeline design, data modeling, testing, and documentation. It contributes to a mid-build platform in a fast-paced, evolving environment. The role has global, omni-channel accountability across product categories, countries, and sales and marketing channels, including DTC, retail, wholesale, marketplaces, and emerging channels. It builds and maintains dbt models and ETL/ELT workflows, expands data connectivity, supports cloud infrastructure performance and cost optimization, and delivers modeled data and dashboards for business and AI applications. The engineer also partners with finance, AI, merchandising, operations, and analytics stakeholders to support forecasting, P&L reporting, automation, machine learning, and business decision-making. This is an on-site position, five days per week, based in Calabasas, California.

  • Use AI coding tools daily to write dbt models, debug pipelines, and accelerate development.
  • Collaborate with the AI team to provide clean warehouse inputs for automation, machine learning models, and real-time operations tools.
  • Identify opportunities to use AI to automate data quality checks, anomaly detection, and pipeline monitoring.
