About The Position

This internship focuses on supporting engineering project planning and execution through data analysis, metrics, and reporting. The intern will develop dashboards, reports, and tools to enhance visibility into project status, resource utilization, and engineering performance. Key activities include analyzing engineering and project data to identify trends, assisting with data collection and validation, and developing automation solutions. The role involves collaboration with various teams to deliver data-driven insights and maintaining relevant documentation.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with data analysis, software development, automation, or engineering projects through coursework, internships, or research.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies and business processes.
• Must be returning to school or graduating at the conclusion of the internship term (Summer 2027).

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Python, SQL, Excel, Power BI, or similar tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering project planning and execution through data analysis, metrics, and reporting.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and tools that improve visibility into project status, resource utilization, and engineering performance.
• Analyze engineering and project data to identify trends and support effort and resource planning.
• Assist with data collection, validation, and process improvement activities.
• Develop automation solutions and scripts to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, and operations teams to deliver data-driven insights.
• Maintain documentation, analytics models, and project-related processes.
