About The Position

rockITdata is seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics EHR Project Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing project execution through management of schedules, budgets, risks, communications, and team performance. The project manager will also tracks and report project progress, resource status, milestones, testing activities, and risk mitigation efforts to ensure successful delivery of project objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Experience may be substituted for education; completion of Oracle Cerner certification program is equivalent to 3 years of experience)
  • 8+ years experience managing complex healthcare IT, EHR/EMR, or data migration programs in a cross-functional environment.
  • Strong understanding of data migration lifecycle activities, testing methodologies, validation processes, and go-live readiness.
  • Proven program management, process improvement, and stakeholder coordination experience.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and risk management skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting CMS, VA, DoD, or other federal healthcare agencies.
  • Oracle Cerner experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee data migration deliverables across planning, execution, and tracking to ensure timelines, quality standards, and dependencies are met.
  • Manage data migration testing deliverables, including coordination of test cycles, issue tracking, and validation readiness to support successful go-lives.
  • Facilitate clinical validation activities by coordinating with CMIO stakeholders to review and validate Data Collection Workbooks (DCWs).
  • Drive program process development by designing, documenting, and continuously improving workflows and standard operating procedures to support program execution.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (clinical, technical, and program teams) to ensure alignment on deliverables, risks, and milestones.
  • Track and report program progress, proactively identifying risks, issues, and mitigation strategies related to data migration and validation efforts.
