Data & Analytics Consultant
About The Position
Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business problems, data needs, and analytics opportunities. Translate business questions into data-driven analyses, dashboards, reports, and actionable insights. Assist in developing and maintaining data pipelines. Perform data quality checks (validation, reconciliation, basic monitoring) and help troubleshoot data issues. Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and key drivers. Develop and present clear recommendations, visualizations, and storytelling that support decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver analytics solutions that improve business performance. Support the development and maintenance of repeatable reporting processes, data models, and analytical tools. Help identify opportunities to improve data quality, process efficiency, and analytical capabilities. Stay current on emerging data, analytics, and visualization methods to bring innovative ideas to the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
- Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST".
- Candidate must be located within the United States and US Citizen.
- Minimum 1.5 years (18 months) of experience in data analysis, business intelligence or a related analytical role. (6 months of internship or work thru college may be utilized as part of the 1.5 years).
- Strong proficiency with Python or other programming language.
- Experience with relational databases such as SQL.
- Experience with CoPilot, ChatGPT and/or Claude to support faster coding or analysis.
- Ability to gather requirements, analyze complex information, and communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working with large or complex datasets and turning data into meaningful business recommendations.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings and influence stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- This is a hybrid role with requirement to go into one of the listed GH offices, candidate must be within a commutable distance to one of the offices listed.

- Consulting experience supporting external clients or multiple business functions.
- Experience with data preparation, automation, or process improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, data governance, or data quality practices.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience and/or interest in energy and utilities
