About The Position

This role focuses on assisting in the design of test systems, data architecture, and data analytics from control processes. The co-op will develop and implement automated routines for data collection, pre-processing, and integrity checks, and collaborate with research and data science teams for exploratory data analytics. The position also involves contributing to planning and road mapping new features, supporting AI model development, creating reports and metrics, documenting progress, and assisting with other assigned project activities.

Requirements

Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related engineering or science field.
SQL and Python skills and experience.

Nice To Haves

Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
Junior or Senior Standing
C#, C++, Java or other object-oriented programming skills
Experience in data collection, pre-processing, and relational database models
Possess strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Familiarity with data visualization, management, and storage tools

Responsibilities

Assist in designing test systems, data architecture, and data analytics from control processes.

Collaborate with research and data science teams to perform exploratory data analytics, identifying trends and data features.
Contribute to planning & road mapping new features and functionality.
Support multi-disciplinary agile teams in developing and improving AI models.
Create reports and metrics to drive more efficient initiatives.
Document and present progress/results to stakeholders and other teams.
Assist with other project activities as assigned.
