The Homefront Heroes Hiring (HHH) Program is designed to attract and hire spouses and domestic partners of actively serving military personnel to career opportunities through a military spouse-specific virtual hiring event and onboarding program. The HHH Program is a direct hire program for talented individuals seeking careers in Consumer Lending, Consumer Small Business Banking, Human Resources, Technology, and Wealth Investment Management. The Software Governance Analytics Associate will support the Software Governance team in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and usability of the firm’s enterprise software inventory. This role applies data analytics, data science techniques, and automation to improve software asset visibility, reduce data quality issues, and support governance, compliance, and risk management initiatives. The analyst will partner closely with technology, finance, sourcing, and third-party risk stakeholders to analyze large datasets, identify discrepancies, and recommend data-driven improvements to software inventory processes.

Requirements

  • 6+ months of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 6+ months of experience in data analysis, including data review, reporting, and documentation.
  • 6+ months of hands-on experience using Microsoft Excel (e.g., data organization, formulas, basic analysis)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a technology-driven or IT environment
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence (AI) concepts and practical use of AI tools or platforms
  • Effective communicator. Writes clearly, compellingly, and in a way that breaks down complex topics into their most important components.
  • Experienced in strategic problem solving with a strong track record of data-informed decision-making, using analytical insights, sound judgment, and industry knowledge to anticipate trends and shape effective organizational strategies
  • Ability to produce a copy of military orders including applicant

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and validate large-scale software inventory data across multiple source systems.
  • Identify data quality issues, gaps, duplicates, and inconsistencies impacting software inventory accuracy.
  • Design and build analytical queries, dashboards, and reports to monitor software inventory health and completeness.
  • Apply data science techniques (e.g., pattern recognition, classification, anomaly detection) to improve software identification and normalization.
  • Assist in automating data reconciliation and validation processes using scripting or analytical tools.
  • Partner with technology, finance, sourcing, and third-party risk teams to understand data flows and lifecycle impacts.
  • Present findings, trends, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
