About The Position

Apex is looking for a Data Analyst who is passionate about helping build a world-class data and analytics organization. This individual would be responsible for (i) managing triaging reported data issues, (ii) supporting functions with ad-hoc data analysis, (iii) increasing the analytics posture of our data infrastructure, and (iv) being a thought partner on long-term strategic planning and data-driven growth initiatives with department leaders and other senior leaders within Apex. This role is highly analytical, strategic, and data-oriented and is suited for someone who excels in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to technical and analytical capabilities, with a high level of emotional intelligence, to help grow the Company.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or relevant field.
3+ years of experience using Python & SQL in a Data Analysis role.
3+ years of experience working with Python Data Science such as like Pandas, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn,
3+ years using SQL functionality like CTEs, Pivots, Window Functions, etc.
Experienced with working with JSON data.
Experienced querying OLAP Data Models (Star Schema).

Nice To Haves

Experience with Snowflake & DBT is a plus.
Experience with AI, machine learning, or statistical analytics is a plus.
Proven adaptability in a fast-paced evolving technology landscape, with strong problem-solving ability and quick learning curve.

Responsibilities

Support Partner Services functions with ad-hoc data analysis capabilities such as data audit reports, producing curated data sets, and exploratory data analysis.
Take ownership of triaging reported data issues and identifying root cause.
Partner with Data & Analytics team to translate data analysis proof-of-concepts into Data Model enhancements.
Partner with Data & Analytics team to implement Data Quality checks within existing Data Pipelines.
Provide Data Analysis support for strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with organizational goals.
