About The Position

The Data Analyst will be responsible for verifying and standardizing data within the Plex system, providing training to ensure system accuracy. This role involves collecting, analyzing, tracking, and supervising the implementation of key departmental data, including KPI data, weekly and monthly reports, handling of overdue inventory, and writing work instructions.

Requirements

  • More than one year of working experience in the planning department.
  • Bachelor's degree and above.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with manufacturing software.
  • Familiar with company's production process and Plex operation.
  • Familiar with EXCEL and other office software, with strong data analysis ability.
  • Good logic ability, strong data analysis ability.
  • Familiar with supply chain management.
  • Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership and customers.
  • Must be in good health and available to work long hours with a computer.
  • Must be able to bear high stress.

Responsibilities

  • Verify data in Plex, correct and standardize Plex operations, and provide training to ensure system accuracy.
  • Collect, analyze, track, and supervise the implementation of important departmental data, such as KPI data, weekly reports, and monthly reports.
  • Manage handling of overdue inventory.
  • Write work instructions.
  • Check, manage, monitor, and report the maintenance of Plex data regularly.
  • Monitor the on-time close for orders and records in Plex to increase the accuracy of PRP/MRP.
  • Support fixing abnormal situations for each department when using Plex and improve the using process.
  • Evaluate the feasibility of Plex data update plans, considering potential impacts on MRP operation.
  • Analyze inventory data, report abnormal inventory (overdue, sluggish, non-FIFO), and organize/formulate corresponding measures, tracking implementation results.
  • Responsible for weekly/monthly order statistics, reporting order change rate by main equipment and customers, and guiding planners to adjust production plans.
  • Responsible for the collection and statistics of important data such as weekly reports, monthly reports, on-time delivery rate, and forecast accuracy.
  • Participate in the preparation and improvement of relevant work instructions and program documents of the department.
  • Responsible for tracking and supervising the completion of to-do items for departmental problem points.
  • Responsible for updating and consolidating supply chain working procedures.
  • Timely completion and reporting of matters assigned by superiors.
  • Understand environment factors, dangerous sources, and their control methods.
  • Execute and implement integrated management system regulations and documentation.
  • Classification of scrap and waste from this job.
  • Other duties as assigned.
