About The Position
The Data Analyst will consult with executives and other business leaders to identify improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree any discipline
- Secret Security Clearance
- Must have 10 years Surface Navy experience including shipboard training and operations
- Experience with Surface Ship training metrics
- Experience with Naval Information Systems
- Experience of Microsoft Office Suite of Program tools
- Advanced use with Microsoft Excel to develop data products
- Experience performing technical data and system analysis
- Experience looking at data and identify patterns, problems, or analysis opportunities
- Knowledge of Surface ship training and certification process
Responsibilities
- Create reports for internal teams, external clients and/or stakeholders
- Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data
- Visualize data with graphs, infographics and other methods
- Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions
- Structure large data sets to find usable information
- Process information with a team of analysts and other associates
- Craft presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings
