We are seeking a Data Analyst to partner closely with investment bankers and senior leadership across the firm to design and implement AI, machine learning, and analytic solutions that enhance how the firm analyzes opportunities, generates client materials, and supports decision-making. This role sits at the intersection of applied AI, finance, and analytics. This is a hands-on role designed for highly motivated problem solvers who excel at collaborating with diverse stakeholders, translating complex requirements into actionable plans, and delivering innovative, high impact solutions. The ideal candidate will also have a strong financial background and a practical understanding of investment banking workflows, including how bankers analyze companies, prepare client materials, manage deal processes, conduct diligence, track buyers and investors, coordinate workstreams, and produce high-quality deliverables under tight deadlines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative fields (e.g., Math, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Quantitative Finance, Economics or related fields)
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of analytics, data science, investment banking or investment banking operations experience
  • Ability to manage day-to-day expectations of bankers
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders, including senior bankers and deal teams
  • Experience turning complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders including though automated reporting solutions
  • Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple high-impact projects with guidance
  • Intellectual curiosity about AI including applications in financial services and a practical interest in experimenting with new tooling including AI/data platforms
  • Sound judgment, discretion, and comfort working with sensitive information

Responsibilities

  • Partner directly with investment bankers to understand workflows and identify high value use cases for incorporating AI tools and process automation to reduce manual work and improve the quality of client deliverables.
  • Design, prototype, and implement tools including AI-powered applications, workflow automation, and data-driven systems that support deal execution, client delivery, and firm-wide decision-making.
  • Work across structured and unstructured financial, market, and proprietary client data to drive insights and power firm-wide tools and applications.
  • Partner with stakeholders to evaluate emerging AI tools and vendors for fit, security, usability, and business value.
  • Partner with legal, compliance, IT, and leadership to support responsible AI usage, data handling, governance, and vendor diligence.
  • Create adoption plans, training materials, usage guidance, and partner with stakeholders to manage change management initiatives tied to new tools, dashboards, and systems.
