About The Position

NCCI is seeking a Data Analyst to join their Data Resources team. This role involves identifying and resolving routine data issues, uncovering root causes, working directly with customers and data providers, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data that supports critical business decisions. The position offers exposure to data environments, business systems, testing activities, and process improvement initiatives, while fostering the development of analytical and problem-solving skills. The role operates within a flexible-hybrid environment, with a preference for candidates located within commuting distance of the Boca Raton, FL headquarters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or additional related work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in Data analysis
  • 2+ years of experience in Business operations
  • 2+ years of experience in Data management
  • 2+ years of experience in Financial services, healthcare, insurance, or similar analytical environments
  • Ability to investigate and resolve data or system-related issues
  • Ability to analyze trends and identify root causes
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work directly with customers and business partners
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of insurance, claims, or financial data
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • In lieu of the work experience requirement, a degree with coursework in any of the following may be accepted: Database and/or system management or design, Data extraction, Data mining, Data warehousing

Responsibilities

  • Identify and resolve customer data issues and assist data providers
  • Provide testing and system support, and research issues
  • Prepare documentation to resolve system requirements, procedures, or customer communications to resolve issues impacting core work functions and supported customer groups
  • Participate in process reviews and improvements of team functions
  • Collaborate with team members on resolutions to data provider challenges
