Data Analyst (Remote Opportunity in Knoxville, TN)
About The Position
University Health Network (UHN) is hiring a Data Analyst to work in the growing field of Healthcare Value Based Care. This position offers a hybrid work from home option for employees who meet performance requirements. Candidate must reside in the Knoxville, Tennessee metropolitan area and be able to commute to the corporate office located in Knoxville, TN when needed. Candidate must be able to maintain HIPAA privacy requirements when working in a home office setting. University Health Network is a clinically integrated network and manages University Health ACO, LLC (an accountable care organization). We work in partnership with the University of Tennessee Medical Center, University Physicians’ Association (UPA), area physicians, and commercial and Medicare insurance companies. We strive to deliver the healthcare triple aim: Better care for individuals, better health for populations, and lowering growth in expenditures.
Requirements
- Proven working experience as a data analyst or similar role required. Will consider education in lieu of work experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages including SQL and Python.
- Proficiency using data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with SQL, Python, Power BI, and ETL processes is highly desired.
- Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes desired.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing large sets of data from multiple sources.
- Creating and validating multiple weekly and monthly end user reports.
- Monitoring process performance and customer satisfaction.
- Identifying improvements in data collection to better meet department needs.
