About The Position

Amentum is searching for a Top-Secret cleared Data Analyst to join our team in Washington, DC. You will be working in an organization that’s mission is to accelerate operations through data and new analytical insights. The entire section leverages agile and works to provide enhanced reporting and global searching capabilities to facilitate task management, cross-utilization, and address national intelligence priorities while protecting confidential data and sources. The Data Analyst transforms data into actionable insights that support organizational objectives, operational excellence, and informed decision-making. This role collects, validates, analyzes, and reports information from multiple sources to produce accurate reports, executive briefings, dashboards, and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders. Working closely with program leadership and cross-functional teams, the Data Analyst ensures data integrity, supports information management and collaboration processes, and delivers analytical solutions that drive efficiency, transparency, and program success. Through strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and stakeholder engagement, this position enables leaders to make data-driven decisions, improves reporting and knowledge-sharing capabilities, and contributes to continuous process improvement across the organization.

Requirements

  • Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent specialized experience (1 year of education = 1.5 years of experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • 4 years of experience collectively with the following:
  • Demonstrated experience providing administrative or executive support in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience building or maintaining SharePoint sites, pages, lists, document libraries, permissions, and collaboration workflows.
  • Experience tracking, consolidating, validating, and reporting information from multiple stakeholders or business units.
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills, including creating executive briefings, data visualizations, charts, tables, and concise leadership-level presentations.
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, customer-service, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, prioritization, and ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting senior executives, program leadership, or government clients.
  • Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, Microsoft Lists, Planner, or other Microsoft Power Platform tools.
  • Experience developing dashboards, metrics, status reports, or executive decision briefs.
  • Familiarity with record-management practices, information governance, and accessibility requirements for electronic documents and presentations.
  • Active security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one, if required by the contract.

Responsibilities

  • Performing analysis on relevant information from a variety of sources to prepare documents, reports, summaries and replies to inquiries, ensuring accuracy and proper format of the information provided.
  • Manages compilation, cataloging, caching, distribution, and retrieval of data.
  • Participates in ad hoc data projects and analyses that produce actionable recommendations that build relevant insights for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collects data and runs basic reports in response to client inquiries.
  • Works closely with key internal stakeholders to ensure sound knowledge of client requirements to support development of best-in-class analytical solutions.
  • Accurately enters required data into one or more databases, documents and/or spreadsheets.
  • Responsible for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Responsible for completing all training requirements and fulfilling all self-aid/buddy aid responsibilities, participating in emergency response tasks and serving on safety committees and teams.
  • Consistently provide services that meet customer expectations.
  • Carry out job activities in compliance with applicable Amentum Quality System documents and customer contracts.
  • Read and understand Quality Management and Customer Satisfaction responsibilities.
  • Read, understand and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures and policies pertaining to his/her job.
