These roles involve close collaboration with business partners to understand their needs and leverage data for informed decision-making.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a Data Analytics role, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
- Strong communication skills to convey data-driven insights.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities with attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirement gathering sessions with business partners and document business requirements and data mappings.
- Translate business needs into data solutions and manage data analytics projects.
- Develop automated reporting on key performance metrics using tools like Tableau.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to extract and communicate business insights.
- Enhance data models using Python, SQL, and AWS tools (e.g., Glue, Athena, Step Functions).
- Assist with data extraction and analysis for priority projects.
