About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights, supporting informed decision-making across all levels of the organization. This position involves developing Power BI reports, exploring and implementing data management solutions leveraging AI/ML, automating processes using Microsoft Power Platform, and writing SQL queries to pull data from our Snowflake database.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of proven experience as a Data Analyst, with a focus on Power BI and SQL
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (Snowflake, Azure).
  • Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems.
  • Previous experience in the construction or a related industry.

Responsibilities

  • Power BI Reporting and Analytics: Design, build, maintain, and continuously improve Power BI reports and semantic models. Create user-friendly dashboards with strong visual design, clear business context, consistent formatting standards, and high attention to usability and performance. Write and troubleshoot DAX measures, calculated columns, Power Query transformations, and report logic to ensure accurate, reliable, and actionable insights.
  • Data Modeling, SQL, and Data Warehousing: Develop SQL queries to support reporting, analysis, and data quality needs. Partner with data engineering and business teams to improve data models, troubleshoot refresh failures, resolve source system issues, and strengthen the reliability of reporting.
  • Data Governance, Security, and Access Control: Assist with data governance practices that improve data quality and reliability. Implement and maintain report access controls, sensitivity labels, and row-level security. Document report logic, data definitions, security assumptions, and user guidance.
  • Process Automation and Business Systems Support: Build and support workflow automations using Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, and related tools to reduce manual effort and improve operational consistency. Identify opportunities to apply automation, analytics, and emerging AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Stakeholder Partnership and Communication: Partner with a variety of stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into practical analytics solutions. Communicate findings, report logic, data limitations, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Support adoption of analytics products through developing user guides and leading trainings.
