About The Position

The primary responsibility of the Data Analyst will be in collecting, analyzing, and visualizing data to drive informed decision making in conjunction with the project controls team in support of the OPG service lines and program management. This position requires understanding of project management fundamentals, ensuring data integrity, developing reporting tools and templates, and providing actionable insights to improve cost, schedule, and project performance outcomes on a project and program level. Oceaneering is a global provider of engineered services and products, primarily to the offshore energy industry.   • Recommend and implement improvement in standardization of metrics, data collection, and reporting
  • Assist in developing KPIs and metrics for program performance tracking
  • Investigate and support automation initiatives to streamline reporting and analytics
  • Collaborate with project management, project controls, and program management to understand and support data needs and deliver visualized reporting to drive actionable insights
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to support service line management decisions
  • Partner with Program Managers to collect, organize, and visualize program performance data for external presentation
  • Participate in project or program reviews by providing accurate and timely data visualizations
