About The Position

MSD is looking for a Data Analyst to join our team! The Data Analyst serves as a strategic partner to the business by transforming complex data into meaningful insights that drive informed decision-making and operational excellence. In this role, you will collaborate with leaders and cross-functional teams to understand business objectives, develop impactful reporting and interactive dashboards, and deliver data-driven solutions that improve efficiency, visibility, and performance across the organization. Leveraging tools such as Power BI, Microsoft Excel, Power Automate, SQL, Python, R, and other data analysis technologies, you will identify trends, uncover opportunities for process improvement, and provide actionable recommendations that support organizational goals. Beyond reporting and analytics, the Data Analyst plays a vital role in optimizing business processes by developing and maintaining standard operating procedures, documenting system functionality, and ensuring data integrity across projects. Success in this position requires a combination of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills, as you'll regularly partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable reporting solutions. Requirements

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, or a related field preferred
High School Diploma/GED required
2+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence roles (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Experience with Power BI, advanced Excel, and data analysis tools (SQL, Python, or R) is highly desirable
Able to communicate clearly in written and verbal English
US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status required
Unencumbered US Driver’s license

Responsibilities

Review, create, and update reporting and dashboards utilizing required system such as Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and Power Automate.
Communicate with appropriate team members and stakeholders to understand requirements and complete projects effectively.
Review, create, and update Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation and maintain system functionality documentation.
Proactively communicates with Supervisor and business stakeholders around reporting and dashboard needs, ensuring clear understanding of requirements and timelines.
Work with team to develop clear and concise standard operating procedures for system usage and documents systems functionality.
Produce required reporting as needed on a project by project basis in systems such as: Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and/or Power Automate .
Produce required scripting and data analysis using data mining tools and techniques, such as SQL, R, Python, or similar on a project basis.
Partners with the Chief Information Officer, management, and business process owners to plan and execute on reporting and dashboard needs that support organizational goals.
