About The Position

The Data Analyst will work closely with key stakeholders from various departments to validate data accuracy and provide insights and recommendations based on analysis. This role plays a lead part in fostering a data-driven decision-making culture and its adoption throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Finance preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience working with database applications, reporting and analysis OR Equivalent Combination of the Education and Experience.
  • Ability to write in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to communicate with business users across the organization.
  • Ability to speak effectively, present information, respond to questions in a clear and concise manner.
  • Must demonstrate attention to detail, be able to work independently or as member of a team.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and research skills.
  • Experience using Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud, or similar business intelligence tool.
  • Strong Mathematical foundation.
  • Expert in Microsoft Office; Excel specifically.
  • Deep experience in enterprise and database applications.
  • Ability to travel (US and internationally)
  • Ability to work evenings and/or weekends

Nice To Haves

  • Report writing know-how is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with employees on the production floor to collect, validate, and interpret operational data, ensuring real-time accuracy and practical usability.
  • Monitor data integrity across systems and facilities, initiating corrective actions and leading initiatives to improve data consistency, accuracy, and harmonization across Oliver’s US operations.
  • Facilitate and drive production processes by identifying risks, inefficiencies, and gaps in visibility; develop and implement process improvements to support operational excellence.
  • Support ongoing business data needs by partnering with Finance and other operational departments by analyzing material usage, evaluating labor variances, and identifying discrepancies that impact cost, efficiency, or performance.
  • Investigate, document, and model business functions, processes, procedures, systems, information flows, and data structures using appropriate analytical tools and methodologies.
  • Serve as a key liaison between operations, finance, and IT to ensure data solutions align with business objectives and operational realities.
