About The Position

We are seeking a Data Analyst to support the Boeing Global Services (BGS) Commercial Modifications team in Long Beach, CA by transforming data into actionable insights that improve program Execution, schedule performance and decision-making. This role will partner with Program and Project managers, Engineering, and Supply Chain to develop dashboards, maintain data integrity, and support performance reporting across modification programs. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to build foundational experience in program analytics, data visualization, and operational performance management.

Requirements

• 1+ years’ experience in data analysis, or metrics reporting, or related work
• 1+ years’ experience developing dashboards, reports and KPIs
• 1+ years’ experience developing data pipelines or ETL (Extract Transform Load) services
• 1+ years' experience with designing and implementing API-driven data pipelines
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business, Engineering, Computer Science or related fields
• Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

• Basic proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data organization)
• Exposure to Tableau (academic, internship or personal projects)
• Familiarity with Smartsheet or similar project management tools
• Understanding of project/program management concepts
• Strong communication skills with ability to translate data into insights

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Tableau and Power BI to track program performance (schedule, cost, milestones, resource utilization)
• Support development and administration of project tracking solutions in Smartsheet
• Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Assist in building standardized reporting templates and data models for PMO use
• Analyze trends and provide insights to support program reviews and leadership decision-making
• Support maturity assessment efforts, scorecard development and KPI tracking
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and reporting requirements
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting efficiency, and automation
• Implement API pipelines
