About The Position

The Department of International Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health is seeking a Data Analyst. The Data Analyst will review and analyze data. The Data Analyst will create reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders and/or leadership and utilize findings to aid in decision-making. In addition to the duties described above, the role involves performing data manipulation and variable creation for a vaginal microbiome cohort study, analyzing micronutrient status and nutrition/diet data from a baseline survey, and conducting analyses to evaluate associations between nutrition and vaginal microbiome composition in a longitudinal cohort.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Three years of related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data in accordance with applicable privacy laws such as FERPA/HIPAA.
  • Communicate findings compellingly and visually through dashboards, reports, briefing decks, stories, scorecards, executive briefings, etc. For different audiences using solutions like Power BI and Tableau.
  • Proofread and edit reports and other products to attain consistency of format.
  • Regular outreach to offices to learn about upcoming surveys scheduled; maintain up to date documentation.
  • Assist with the development of a detailed communication strategy and plan for the office/assigned area.
  • Maintain office website and produce materials in coordination with the divisional communications team.
  • Perform data manipulation and variable creation for vaginal microbiome cohort study.
