We are currently seeking a Data Analyst to join the Data Solutions team in the Wealth Technology group at CI Wealth. The Data Solutions team focuses on developing data-driven solutions, driving innovation, and uncovering key insights to support strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in leveraging data to deliver solutions that enhance decision-making, streamline business processes, and support strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both data analysis and business processes.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of work experience in quantitative analysis.
  • Post-secondary degree in a quantitative discipline.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details.
  • Solid understanding of data and data modeling.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with the following tools: Visualization e.g., Sigma, AWS Quicksight Modelling e.g., MS Excel Database system e.g., PostgreSQL, Snowflake Cloud Technology e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of SQL
  • Working knowledge and understanding of Python.
  • A strong analytical mindset and sophisticated written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work within an organization based upon continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the Financial Services Industry is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret large datasets to uncover key insights that drive business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across teams to identify data needs and deliver actionable solutions.
  • Develop and maintain data processes that enhance efficiency and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Document and maintain data mapping specifications and business rules to support data governance efforts.
  • Assist in building reports, dashboards, and analytics tools to monitor key metrics and trends.
  • Identify inefficiencies in existing processes and recommend data-driven improvements.
  • Respond to stakeholder inquiries and data requests in a timely and effective manner.
  • Partner with Data Engineers to support the successful implementation of solutions.
