About The Position

The Data Analyst is a strategic member of the Strategy & Analytics team, responsible for transforming data into actionable insights across multiple business functions. You will own the complete data lifecycle—from sourcing and ingesting data across systems to building robust data warehouses and delivering precision reporting solutions. This role combines data engineering expertise with analytical acumen, requiring you to work collaboratively with stakeholders while maintaining rigorous data governance standards. The ideal candidate brings 3-5 years of data analytics experience, holds a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering, and demonstrates proven AWS proficiency. You'll need strong problem-solving skills, expertise in mutual fund and market-based insurance products, and the ability to communicate complex methodologies clearly to non-technical audiences. Success requires balancing technical depth with independent judgment and collaborative teamwork while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in ETL, data analytics and report building roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in semantic data modeling and transformation, including the ability to design and implement data models that standardize business terminology, establish data relationships, and enable consistent interpretation across various domains and systems
  • Successful completion of B.Sc. Computer Science, Mathematics, Stats, Engineering or applicable program.
  • Proficiency in database design and implementation, including experience with relational and non-relational database systems, schema design, and optimization techniques for performance and scalability
  • Proven application or utilization of AWS in a business environment
  • Strong Mutual Fund and Market-Based Insurance product knowledge.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the investment operations lifecycle, including trade processing, settlement, reconciliation, portfolio accounting, and compliance.
  • Strong experience and knowledge of individual financial service industry on a greater scale (knowledge of mutual funds, segregated funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), SMAs, etc.)
  • Experience with Python, R, Tableau, AWS, SQL, SnowFlake
  • Experience with CRM tools or Salesforce specifically

Responsibilities

  • Data engineering and pipeline management (Data ingestion, ETL management)
  • Work with stakeholders to understand data needs and provide actionable solutions
  • Design and build scalable databases and data warehouses to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives
  • Source data from multiple internal and external systems, ensuring data quality and completeness
  • Develop and implement semantic data models and transformation logic to standardize data across various business domains
