About The Position

This role focuses on analyzing and forecasting IT financial data across cloud and on-prem environments to support cost optimization and strategic planning. The position blends financial analysis with data visualization and modeling to provide actionable insights into cloud spending, migration impacts, and overall IT cost efficiency.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience with advanced proficiency in Power BI (including Power Query and DAX), advanced Excel, and data visualization best practices
• 5+ years of experience in data modeling and data manipulation to maintain datasets from multiple heterogeneous sources
• 5+ years of experience with Azure cost management, Apptio, and cloud billing structures
• 5+ years of experience with server migration strategies and workload cost modeling
• 5+ years of experience translating technical data into actionable insights for both technical teams and management

Nice To Haves

• FinOps certification or formal FinOps training
• Experience with Azure Reserved Instances and Just-In-Time (JIT) capacity planning
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture and strategic IT planning frameworks

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret IT financial data, including cloud consumption, billing, and chargeback models
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualize cost trends, migration impacts, and optimization opportunities
• Perform monthly and annual variance analysis to identify anomalies and cost-saving opportunities
• Maintain and enhance datasets from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Document processes and procedures related to financial reporting and analysis
• Collaborate with technical and finance teams to align cost models with operational needs
• Model server migration cost scenarios and forecast capacity requirements
• Provide insights into cost drivers and utilization patterns to support financial operations strategy
