About The Position

The Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing sales commission data to ensure accurate and timely commission calculations and payouts. This role involves validating commission transactions, investigating and resolving discrepancies, and preparing reports and dashboards for various stakeholders. The analyst will also support monthly and quarterly commission accrual calculations, partner with internal teams to maintain alignment between compensation plans and system calculations, and assist in the administration and testing of commission management systems. Additionally, the role requires monitoring compliance with policies and internal controls, analyzing commission trends and sales performance, and supporting annual compensation plan updates. A key aspect of this position is developing automated reporting solutions to enhance accuracy and reduce manual effort, as well as maintaining documentation for commission processes.

Requirements

  • Analyze sales commission data to ensure accurate and timely commission calculations and payouts.
  • Validate commission transactions by reconciling sales, revenue, and commission system data.
  • Investigate and resolve commission discrepancies, payment disputes, and data inconsistencies.
  • Prepare recurring commission reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for Sales, Finance, and executive leadership.
  • Support monthly and quarterly commission accrual calculations and related accounting entries.
  • Partner with Sales Operations, Accounting, Payroll, and HR teams to maintain alignment between compensation plans and commission system calculations.
  • Assist in the administration, testing, and maintenance of commission management systems.
  • Monitor compliance with policies and internal controls.
  • Analyze commission trends, sales performance, and plan effectiveness, providing recommendations for process improvements.
