Data Analyst
About The Position
CTG is seeking a Data Analyst for a client engagement in Anchorage, Alaska. The position is for a six-month duration. The Data Analyst will work with the Project Manager, business users, and technical team members to identify reporting requirements, recreate legacy reports in a new application environment, and develop and publish reporting solutions for operational and business needs. Responsibilities include building reports and dashboards, applying data logic, validating data and reporting outputs, maintaining a data dictionary, configuring scheduled distributions and exports, and publishing approved solutions to production after User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Nice To Haves
- Experience with SSRS, Datamart reporting, Exago, and/or Power BI.
- Experience developing reports and dashboards from enterprise application data.
- Experience working with relational data, including tables, joins, filters, and reporting logic.
- Experience validating and troubleshooting data and reporting outputs.
- Experience with cloud-based enterprise applications or reporting environments.
- AMCS Platform experience or solid waste industry knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Project Manager and business users to identify reporting requirements and recreate required legacy reports within the new application environment.
- Develop and publish reports and dashboards to support business and operational reporting needs.
- Develop reporting solutions using SSRS, Datamart, and related reporting tools.
- Apply appropriate filters, calculations, and data logic to reporting outputs.
- Work with technical team members to validate data access, table relationships, and joins.
- Develop and maintain a data dictionary to support ongoing system knowledge and reporting.
- Configure scheduled report distribution and data exports as required.
- Validate reports and dashboards prior to User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Publish approved reporting solutions to the production environment following UAT acceptance.
- Support operational, customer service, financial, and management reporting requirements.
