About The Position

Kentro is hiring an experienced Mid-Level Data Analyst (EO) to support our intel customer. The analyst will provide advanced data analytics and predictive strategic workforce planning via on-demand, intuitive web-based capabilities and reporting. The candidate will assist with developing standardized data operating procedures and reporting to ensure complete and consistent application across all career fields (CF). The candidate will perform work and tasks that extend to CFs and mission owners and may also extend to the DIA Equal Opportunity & Diversity Office (EO) and the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in analytics or related field
  • 5 - 7 Years of data analyst experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) to develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and databases supporting workforce analytics and reporting.
  • Advanced experience developing interactive dashboards and data visualizations using Tableau, including dashboard design, data modeling, calculated fields, and publishing enterprise reporting solutions.
  • Experience integrating multiple enterprise data sources to support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, scripting, data transformation (ETL), statistical modeling, and process improvement.
  • Experience designing, developing, and deploying solutions within Amazon Web Services (AWS), including AI and machine learning capabilities, cloud-based data services, and automation tools.
  • Experience developing AI-enabled solutions to improve SharePoint knowledge management, search functionality, workflow automation, and user support.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence principles, predictive analytics, workforce planning methodologies, and data governance best practices.
  • Ability to automate recurring reports, dashboards, and analytical processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and data availability.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large, complex datasets and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information to executive leadership through written products, presentations, and formal briefings.
  • Experience supporting senior executives by developing executive dashboards, briefing materials, predictive analyses, and strategic workforce recommendations.
  • Must have an active TS/SCI at the time of hire and willing/able to get CI Polygraph

Responsibilities

  • Provides enterprise workforce analytics, data analysis, and technical development in support of the EO Office's mission.
  • Leads the design, development, and maintenance of analytical tools, dashboards, and reporting solutions that integrate enterprise HR data with EO-specific data to deliver actionable workforce insights.
  • Develops predictive workforce planning models and self-service reporting capabilities that enable leadership at all organizational levels to make informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Designs, develops, and implements artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning capabilities using Amazon Web Services (AWS) to enhance data accessibility, knowledge management, and decision support within EO systems, including SharePoint-based platforms.
  • Identifies opportunities to leverage AI technologies to improve data discovery, automate business processes, and deliver intelligent, user-focused solutions that increase operational efficiency.
  • Develops and implements automated dashboards, reporting solutions, and data management tools to streamline data collection, analysis, visualization, and distribution.
  • Continuously improves analytical processes through automation and technical innovation, reducing manual effort while increasing the accuracy, timeliness, and availability of workforce information.
  • Ensures the standardization, integrity, and consistency of workforce data and reporting methodologies across the Agency.
  • Conducts comprehensive analyses of workforce trends, demographics, hiring, attrition, promotions, and other key performance indicators to support EO leadership and the four EO program areas.
  • Produces ad hoc reports, executive-level analyses, and predictive assessments for senior leadership, including DISES and DISL populations.
  • Develops and enhances EO-specific dashboards that provide real-time visibility into workforce metrics, Equal Opportunity program data, reasonable accommodations, complaints and investigations, workforce profiles, and other mission-critical information.
  • Applies advanced analytical techniques to identify trends, forecast workforce needs, and support strategic workforce planning initiatives that align workforce capabilities with long-term organizational goals and mission requirements.
  • Regularly briefs division leadership and senior executives on workforce analytics, emerging trends, predictive insights, and key performance metrics.
  • Presents complex analytical findings in a clear and actionable manner, providing recommendations that inform strategic decision-making, resource allocation, and organizational planning.
  • Serves as a trusted technical advisor to leadership on workforce analytics, data governance, AI capabilities, and business intelligence initiatives.
