About The Position

One of our direct client is urgently looking for a Data Analyst @ Sunnyvale CA. This is a 6 to 12+ Months contract role. The Data Analyst will analyze, document, and design data objects, data quality rules, and data quality tests to be landed and executed. The role involves creating resilient, sustainable, and Data Object Designs and Data Quality Rules. The Data Analyst will act as a product-oriented individual, creating and experimenting with new ideas that will engage and excite customers. The position requires a strong understanding of data design techniques and principles, leadership, and communication skills. The candidate must be able to work effectively in teams, be self-motivated, task-oriented, and organized, with a strong customer focus and obsession with quality. The ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment is also essential.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 3+ years experience in Data Design, Dimensional Modelling, Teradata, HiveQL, Hadoop HDFS, Confluence, Jira.
• Strong understanding of data design techniques and principles.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Must be able to work effectively both on teams as well as be self-motivated, task oriented and organized.
• Strong customer focus and obsession with quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment.

Nice To Haves

• MS/PhD would be a strong plus.
