About The Position

Cummings Electrical is hiring a Data Analyst for our Business Improvement Solutions (BIS) Team. Currently seeking a Data Analyst to support the Business Improvement Solutions Team by turning data into clear, useful information that helps Cummings Electrical make better decisions and improve how work gets done. This role will work with departments across the company to understand business needs, analyze information, develop dashboards and reporting, and identify trends and opportunities for improvement. The Data Analyst will take ownership of assigned analytics work and help make company data easier to understand, trust, and use.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience may also be considered.
• Typically 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or a related field.
• Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or a similar tool.
• Working knowledge of SQL and experience working with data from multiple sources.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to clean, organize, validate, and analyze data.
• Ability to identify trends and turn data into meaningful business insights.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate work.
• Ability to clearly communicate data and findings to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow work through completion.
