About The Position

As a Data Analyst, you will be working to identify internal/external databases to be connected within multiple data warehouse tools. You will work with both the external database administrators and the broader data support team to connect data sets primarily using APIs, Power Apps, or Bots. You will also be responsible for maintaining data syncs, developing dashboards to display critical KPIs, documenting and implementing changes, and maintaining data quality metrics and the data architecture/model for the project. This role involves data management, including syncing databases, structuring large datasets, designing data infrastructure, maintaining data management plans, evaluating database changes, mapping and joining datasets using tools like Palantir Foundry, Advana, and Power BI DAX, and updating the data architecture/model. It also includes Power Automate Flow Construction and Data Analysis, such as developing methods for joining datasets, collaborating with team members, establishing KPIs, and developing Power BI Dashboards. Soft skills for teamwork in an ad-hoc environment are also important.

Requirements

• Must have an active and adjudicated Secret clearance.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• US Citizenship is required.
• A minimum of FIVE (5) years of experience working with large amounts of data.
• Experience building AI agents and using AI to produce outcomes.
• Knowledge of data management and reporting/data visualization technologies (Power BI, Databricks, Palantir Products).
• Ability to work in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in the Federal/DoD IT environment.
• Experience in IT and Financial data management or USAF Financials.
• Coding skills in Python, R, SQL, or other languages are a plus.
• Experience with statistical software.
• Experience with Automated connections to multiple systems.
• Experience in finding inefficiencies and deploying automated solutions to streamline outputs.
• Financial systems knowledge.
• Technical writing skills.
• Knowledge of modern database and information technologies.
• SharePoint design and administration.

Responsibilities

• Map and join together multiple siloed, disparate data sets using Palantir Foundry (pipelines), Advana, and Power BI DAX.
• Update data architecture/model as needed.
• Construct Power Automate Flows.
• Develop creative methods of joining multiple, disparate datasets to produce meaningful insight.
• Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data.
• Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions.
• Develop Power BI Dashboards to showcase analysis.
• Utilize soft skills to work together with a team of analysts in an ad-hoc environment to process information.
