We're looking for a talented Data Analyst to join our team in Springfield, Virginia (Hybrid eligible). This position will support a complex government client. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, advanced Excel expertise, experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports, and the ability to query, analyze, and present data from multiple database sources. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to transform complex data into meaningful insights that support business and operational decision-making. Clearance: Must be US citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI dashboard development and reporting
  • Experience developing and executing database queries using SQL
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or a related field
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, formulas, data analysis, and reporting
  • Experience creating data visualizations and executive-level reports
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be US citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting Federal Government programs or contracts
  • Experience working with large datasets from multiple sources
  • Familiarity with data quality, validation, and reporting best practices

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
  • Analyze and interpret data from multiple sources
  • Create recurring and ad hoc reports for customers and program leadership
  • Develop and execute database queries to support reporting requirements
  • Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities for data analysis and reporting
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and performance metrics within datasets
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across reporting products
