About The Position

Responsible for assisting in the analysis of data, creation of reports, dashboards, and other analytical results to assist the bank’s lines of business make informed decisions. Works directly with each department’s leaders to identify analytical requirements.

Requirements

Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written.
Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
Proficient computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity and advanced features of word processing and spreadsheet software.
Ability to learn new specialized software.
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as managing files and records and other office procedures and terminology.
Knowledge of financial industry and bank dynamics, and knowledge of bank’s products and services, and bank security and transaction policies.
Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision making.
Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
Monitoring/assessing your performance to make improvements or take corrective action.
Knowledge of banking laws and regulations.
In the performance of all the respective tasks and duties, employee will maintain knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act regulations and all other regulatory, security and bank policies and procedures.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field or applicable educational experience.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Eagerness to learn and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL) is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data from various sources to support business objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver comprehensive analytical solutions.
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate key findings to stakeholders.
Participate in data quality assurance activities to ensure accuracy and reliability of analytical outputs.
Support ad-hoc analysis requests and contribute to ongoing projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and customer experience.
Performs other duties as assigned.
