About The Position

The person in this role will be responsible for data integrity and data maintenance with a focus on data exceptions and validation. This person must have broad and deep hands-on experience ensuring that updated records are maintained within the University’s legacy system of record for advancement data, known in-house as “Griffin”. Higher education experience would be beneficial, and higher education advancement experience and knowledge would be of even greater benefit.

Requirements

• A college or university degree in a related field
• 2 – 4 years of as a data analyst or equivalent work experience
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to QA and troubleshoot data
• Experience with a data loader or mass update tool
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

• Review and complete requests to update biographic and other constituent data received from UChicago staff.
• Ensure all data maintenance policies are strictly adhered to in order to assure the integrity of all data.
• Manage data for a wide range of constituent data in multiple applications.
• Understand and articulate the dependencies between systems and applications as it relates to constituent data.
