About The Position
METRO RTA is searching for an experienced Data Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision making throughout the organization.
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data findings into clear and concise narratives for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other relevant data analysis tools and techniques
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Public Transportation Industry Experience a Plus
- Relevant Degree or Professional Certification a Plus
Responsibilities
- Source, clean, and transform large datasets from internal and external sources
- Create data visualizations and reports to communicate insights effectively to diverse audiences
- Independently complete data analysis projects from start to finish
- Collaborate with various departments to improve transit efficiency through data analysis
- Create data sets for submission to external audiences on a regular and as-needed basis
