About The Position

This position is responsible for the ongoing analysis of financial and health care information related to Audit and Corporate Compliance and Ethics, obtained from a variety of sources. This role involves acquiring data and transforming it into information for departmental and enterprise use. This job requires a high level of proficiency with analytical tools (Excel, ACL &SAS), advanced knowledge of SQL programming and data analysis, frequent use of word processing, dashboard tools, the use of presentation software (Publisher & PowerPoint) and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, validate, and interpret complex clinical, operational, financial, and research data related to Hematology/Oncology services and Cancer Innovation Grant programs.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor patient access, program volumes, research activity, grant outcomes, financial performance, and operational effectiveness.
  • Support grant-funded initiatives by tracking program metrics, preparing required reports, and ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data submissions.
  • Utilize advanced SQL programming, data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and validation techniques to convert data from multiple systems into meaningful and actionable information.
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, operational inefficiencies, and areas of financial impact.
  • Develop predictive and descriptive analytics that support strategic planning, growth initiatives, workforce planning, and program development.
  • Collaborate with physicians, administrators, researchers, finance teams, and operational leaders to identify reporting needs and translate business requirements into actionable analytics solutions.
  • Conduct drill-down analyses and exception reporting to proactively identify variances, gaps in performance, or emerging trends affecting patient care, operational outcomes, or grant performance.
  • Create executive-level presentations, visualizations, and reports for leadership, committees, grant stakeholders, and organizational governance groups.
  • Ensure data integrity through routine validation, auditing, quality assurance processes, and documentation of methodologies.
  • Support compliance with organizational policies, grant requirements, HIPAA regulations, and reporting standards.
  • Maintain organized data repositories, documentation, and reporting processes to ensure consistency and sustainability of analytics activities.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Hematology/Oncology program data and provide recommendations based on analytical findings.
  • Partner with multidisciplinary teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and data-driven decision-making.
  • Mentor and support team members on data analysis methodologies, reporting standards, and effective presentation of information.
