The purpose of this position is to fulfill the needs of an ASTHO grant awarded to the VDH PRAMS program to link RAMS data to clinical outcomes data. The role involves providing weekly updates on project status, completing data linkage between VA PRAMS and All Payers Claims Data, Hospital Discharge Data, and other clinical outcomes data. It also includes conducting data analysis of the linked PRAMS data set to identify relationships between MCH behaviors and demographic factors, and clinical outcomes. This involves identifying themes specific to subpopulations, creating tables of quantitative findings, summarizing findings in written narratives, and preparing abstracts. Additionally, the role requires preparing a PowerPoint detailing quantitative findings for VDH MCH programs/staff. The contractor will also participate in the ASTHO grant's learning community, attending virtual learning sessions, technical assistance calls, and team-to-team learning opportunities. This includes developing and implementing an action plan, submitting progress reports, and participating in technical assistance site visits or conference calls. The role involves providing information for needs assessments and key informant interviews to assist ASTHO, obtaining documentation for data dictionaries, and developing a standard methodology for linking PRAMS and clinical outcomes data. Finalizing documentation for data linkages and data sharing, such as MOAs, IRB approvals, and data sharing agreements, is also required. The position involves conducting data linkages and analysis to create de-identified linked datasets and collaborating with the Interagency Advisory Workgroup to identify priority activities, share successes, and build sustainability plans. Participation in partner activities to troubleshoot barriers, share best practices, and build upon successes is expected.
