The Computational Mechanisms of Psychopathology lab (COMPLab) is hiring a Data Analyst to startspring/summer 2026. This position will play a critical role in building and maintaining analysis pipelines, ensuringdata quality, conducting analyses, and serving as a technical resource for lab members. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical skills in neuroimaging and computational methods with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse research projects.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree and one year of experience in data analysis, statistics, or a related field, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

  • Experience with neuroimaging analysis (e.g., FSL, AFNI, SPM, ANTs, Freesurfer)
  • Strong programming skills

Responsibilities

  • Creates and maintains a data dictionary and meta data.
  • Supports efforts to ensure that data standards are developed and maintained.
  • Ensures that the uses of data through reports and queries are accurate.
  • Supports business and system re-engineering and architecture development to define future data needs.
  • Serves as an organizational consultant on matters relating to databases by providing expertise to assist users in meeting their needs.
  • Designing and maintaining analysis pipelines for neuroimaging (functional and structural MRI), psychophysiological, behavioral, and passive sensing data
  • Ensuring best practices for data organization and analysis
  • Performing statistical analyses and generating visualizations for ongoing research projects
  • Serving as a technical resource for other lab members
  • Performs other related duties as required.
