About The Position

As a data analyst at Booz Allen, you can use your skills and experience to support a mission and use data for good. We need a data analyst like you to bring your knowledge to help find the answers in the data. On our team, you’ll use your analytical skills knowledge to create real-world impact. You’ll work closely with your clients to understand their questions and needs and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. You’ll develop algorithms and systems and use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn sets of disparate data points into objective answers to help clients make informed decisions. Requirements

  • Experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining
  • Experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis
  • Experience analyzing structured and unstructured data sources
  • Experience developing predictive data models, quantitative analyses, and visualization of targeted data sources
  • Experience leading the development of solutions to complex programs
  • Experience building and applying machine learning techniques
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the development of algorithms leveraging R, Python, or SQL and NoSQL
  • Experience with distributed data and computing tools, including MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL
  • Experience with visualization packages, including Plotly, Seaborn, or ggplot2
  • Experience working with Air Force clients
  • Experience with effectively managing teams and trusted client relationships
  • Experience with developing visually compelling PowerPoint decks and other products to support client delivery
  • Experience working with Advana or Vault
  • TS/SCI clearance
