About The Position

The City University Construction Fund (CUCF) is a New York State public benefit corporation that manages the $3 billion capital construction program for the design and construction of space required to support the educational mandate of the City University of New York (CUNY). This internship offers an opportunity to contribute to the quality assurance of worksheet data, assist in analyzing and maintaining project-related data, and manage master data. The intern will work with project data in PMWeb, utilize Excel for data cleaning and analysis, and develop data dashboards and visual aids to support decision-making.

Requirements

Enrolled in a CUNY school with at least 45 credits towards a Bachelor’s degree in a data or technical major
Strong attention to detail and comfort in working on large datasets and the ability to present information clearly and accurately
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Excellent writing, interpersonal skills, customer service, and presentation skills
Adaptable to a fast-paced work environment, changing needs, and shifting priorities
Detail-oriented, well-organized, with the ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work independently

Nice To Haves

Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization/reporting tools

Responsibilities

Provide quality assurance of worksheet data, adjusting where necessary in accordance with the PMO
Assist in analyzing and maintaining project-related data used for reporting and tracking
Manage master data including creation, compilation, updates, and deletion
Manage project data in PMWeb and project creations, then update and train staff, as required
Work in Excel to clean, organize, validate, and analyze data using pivot tables, XLOOKUPs, formulas, and related tools
Develop data dashboards, charts, and visual aids to support decision-making across departments
Other duties as assigned
