Data Analyst Intern
About The Position
As a Data Analytics Intern at Modern Woodmen, you’ll help turn data into meaningful insights that support business decisions and strengthen the way we serve our members. You’ll gain hands-on experience with analytics, reporting and process improvement projects while learning how data supports decision making in a member focused financial services organization. Modern Woodmen of America is one of the nation’s largest fraternal benefit societies, with assets over $18 billion. Fraternals are unique membership organizations that pair the “member-owned” characteristic of a mutual insurance company with the “social mission” characteristic of a service organization. They unite individuals with common bonds, provide a variety of life insurance and investment products, and form one of the nation’s most effective volunteer networks.
Requirements
- Student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics or related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to learn.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members on process improvement initiatives and special projects.
- Gain exposure to a variety of disciplines through meetings, events, and cross-functional partnerships.
- Conduct research on trends and best practices.
