About The Position

Gupta Media is seeking a talented Data Analyst I to join their Strategy & Analytics team. This role will focus on reporting, tracking, data analysis, advertising strategy, and visualization. The analyst will support paid media analysts with internal reporting requests and provide clients with insights into their advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate is resourceful, detail-oriented, and driven to solve technical challenges and improve existing processes. They should be comfortable working with complex data and have a strong technical aptitude for problem-solving and continuous learning.

Requirements

  • Ability to analyze complex problems and work with spreadsheets and data sets.
  • Strong technical toolkit including SQL, Excel, and Google Data Studio/Data Visualization.
  • Enjoy working with SQL on a day-to-day basis.
  • Technically curious and resourceful with a natural ability to navigate and understand technical documentation.
  • Ability to use technical documentation to troubleshoot or build new solutions.
  • Communicate technical work and results clearly to a non-technical audience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with complex datasets.
  • Authorization to work in the US for at least 3 years.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Marketing APIs, BigQuery, Snowflake, ETL tools (Rivery, Supermetrics), or Python.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with marketing data or paid advertising.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain customized dashboards that transform data into clear, visual stories.
  • Translate complex performance media metrics into digestible, client-ready reports using Google Sheets, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Learn clients' businesses to align media strategy with overarching business goals.
  • Identify advertising trends across projects to guide media buying decisions and optimize spend.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure tracking and measurement frameworks are scalable, accurate, and best-in-class.
  • Act as a bridge between raw data and strategy.
  • Use understanding of concepts like LTV, ROAS, and Incremental Revenue to lead discussions with clients.
  • Gain trust and shareholder buy-in on media strategy and results.
