About The Position

AGA is seeking a Data Analyst I to support the business by extracting, analyzing, and visualizing data to identify trends and inform decision-making. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights through reports and dashboards. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, economics, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in data analysis or related role.
• Working knowledge of at least one programming language for data analysis (Python, R, or similar tool).
• Knowledge of database & data warehouse structure, experience using SQL for data extraction and manipulation a plus.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Power BI for creating interactive dashboards and visualizations.
• Solid understanding of statistical concepts and techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using SQL for data extraction and manipulation

Responsibilities

• Gather data from various internal and external sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity through cleaning, validation, and transformation.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Respond to ad-hoc data requests from business stakeholders, providing timely and accurate reports based on user requests.
• Document data sources, methodologies, and analytical processes to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
• Partner with business users to understand their data needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Assist in the development and refinement of financial forecasting models by providing data analysis and insights.
• Identify and implement opportunities to automate manual reporting processes to improve operational efficiency.
