About The Position

Independence Pet Holdings (IPH) is seeking a Data Analyst - Expert to join their team. IPH is a corporate holding company established in 2021, managing a diverse portfolio of pet health brands and services across North America. The company focuses on simplifying the pet parenting journey and improving pet well-being through innovative solutions. This role will be instrumental in developing analytics frameworks, providing data-driven insights, and supporting product strategy, customer growth, and partner engagement across IPH's ecosystem. The Data Analyst - Expert will be responsible for developing analytics frameworks to measure performance across the Ecosystem platform and digital services, providing insights into product usage, feature adoption, and customer engagement. They will partner with product teams to evaluate platform features and inform prioritization of product enhancements, as well as support product strategy through data-driven insights. Additionally, the role involves analyzing customer acquisition channels, user behavior, and lifecycle engagement patterns, partnering with marketing teams to improve conversion, retention, and customer engagement. The analyst will develop dashboards and KPI frameworks to track user growth, engagement, and service adoption, and support experimentation and optimization initiatives. The role also extends to delivering analytics supporting IPH's ecosystem of partners, analyzing adoption trends, partner engagement, and platform utilization to improve ecosystem performance. Furthermore, the analyst will partner with enterprise data and technology teams to ensure analytics capabilities align with IPH’s broader data architecture and governance standards, develop scalable reporting frameworks and self-service analytics capabilities, and identify opportunities to automate reporting. Finally, the role involves establishing test-and-learn frameworks to evaluate product features, marketing initiatives, and digital customer experiences, and identifying opportunities to leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI to improve platform performance and user engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related analytical field required.
  • 8–12 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, product analytics, or related roles.
  • Experience supporting digital platforms, marketplaces, or consumer technology products strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience building analytical models and translating insights into business recommendations.
  • Experience with modern BI and data visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with experimentation frameworks and digital product analytics methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence business stakeholders and translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments with multiple stakeholders.

  • Support partner success initiatives through improved visibility into performance metrics and engagement trends.
  • Partner with enterprise data and technology teams to ensure Ecosystem analytics capabilities align with IPH’s broader data architecture and governance standards.
  • Develop scalable reporting frameworks and self-service analytics capabilities for business stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting and streamline access to data-driven insights.
  • Support integration of PetPlace data into enterprise analytics platforms where appropriate.
  • Establish test-and-learn frameworks to evaluate product features, marketing initiatives, and digital customer experiences.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI to improve platform performance and user engagement.
  • Support data-driven experimentation that accelerates innovation and continuous improvement.
