About The Position

We are currently looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst / Data Lineage Consultant to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in mapping data flows and maintaining technical documentation to support data governance initiatives. Please note that Optiveum will be your recruitment partner and the direct contracting party for this cooperation.

Requirements

• A solid foundational understanding of databases, data flows, and data structures.
• Good knowledge of SQL, combined with experience in database / DW / BI testing.
• Ability to analyze and validate data while actively identifying discrepancies.
• Basic working knowledge of Snowflake.
• Proficiency in MS Office, with a strong focus on Excel.
• Basic project management experience.
• Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Fluent English.

Nice To Haves

• Prior knowledge or hands-on experience with IBM IGC.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and analyzing databases alongside existing technical documentation.
• Understanding and accurately mapping data flows between various systems and databases.
• Identifying data sources, transformations, and final destinations.
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive data lineage documentation.
• Updating and managing data lineage information directly within the IBM IGC tool.
• Collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders to clarify data dependencies.
• Supporting the wider project team with data-related analysis and documentation.
