About The Position

The purpose of the role is to enable data-driven strategic and operational decision-making through extracting actionable insights from large datasets, performing statistical and advanced analytics to uncover trends and patterns, and presenting findings through clear visualizations and reports. The Assistant Vice President (AVP) role involves advising and influencing decision-making, contributing to policy development, and taking responsibility for operational effectiveness. This includes collaborating closely with other functions/business divisions, leading a team performing complex tasks, and setting objectives and coaching employees. For an individual contributor, the role involves leading collaborative assignments, guiding team members, identifying the need for other specializations, and identifying new directions for assignments or projects. The role also involves consulting on complex issues, advising People Leaders on escalated issues, identifying ways to mitigate risk, developing new policies/procedures, and taking ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls. The position requires performing work closely related to other areas, understanding how areas coordinate, and collaborating with other areas of work for business-aligned support. It involves complex analysis of data from multiple internal and external sources to solve problems creatively and effectively, and communicating complex information, which may include sensitive information or information that is difficult to communicate due to its content or audience. Influencing or convincing stakeholders to achieve outcomes is also a key aspect.   • Experience in supporting the client hierarchies interpersonally for Wholesale Clients and acting as a product owner for the hierarchy data and definition, including data lineage, data quality.
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining interdependent working relationships with operational teams and senior leadership across Wholesale Onboarding & Group Financial Crime Operation.
  • Experience in interfacing with multiple functions across the Bank, including Technology, Finance, Operations, Compliance & Risk.
