About The Position

The Analytics Insights team is seeking a talented Intermediate Data Analyst to work directly with our studios and Call of Duty (COD) Live Services Team. As part of the Insights team, your mission will be to drive data-driven decision-making. You’ll collaborate with designers, engineers, business stakeholders, Activision leadership, and analytics peers to derive meaningful insights that enhance gameplay design and guide commercial strategies. Partner with our Live Services business unit to optimize game features to aid in driving player engagement and monetization.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., data analytics, data science, statistics, economics, or mathematics).
3+ years of experience with SQL and R/Python for data analysis and visualization.
A passion for storytelling through data, turning complex datasets into compelling narratives.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholder relationships and expectations.

Nice To Haves

Experience in gameplay analysis or knowledge of user engagement and monetization strategies in gaming, entertainment, e-commerce, or mobile apps is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support data-driven approaches to our anti-cheat efforts by building comprehensive reporting tools and delivering analyses to support this initiative.
Partner with the Live Services Team to optimize in-game features, balance game economies, and identify new ways to boost player engagement.
Collaborate with studios to analyze core game systems, implementing gameplay analytics that align with the development goals of designers and engineers.
Support and drive analytics initiatives within a cross-functional team to inform design and implementation decisions, both current and future.
Present analytical findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences, translating complex data into actionable insights.
