Requirements

  • Utilizing BASE SAS, SAS/Macros, Proc SQL, SAS Enterprise Guide, or SAS Studio
  • Data analysis with various database technologies like Oracle, or Teradata
  • Develop and write SQL queries for systems like Oracle, Teradata, Hive QL and SAS
  • Database Desktop tools like DB Visualizer or DBeaver, Desktop code editors like Notepad++ or Ultraedit
  • SFTP/SSH client tools like WinSCP or Reflections SSH
  • Unix Command line tools like Putty, Reflections SSH, or Ultraedit Command line utility
  • Modern large-scale ETL data pipelines to support data integration for reporting and analytics
  • Agile methodologies like Scrum
  • Develop data visualizations and dashboards using BI tools such as PowerBI
  • Programming using Python, NumPy, Pandas, and PyCharm

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, development, testing, and deployment of data analytics program and processes for supporting various operational data stores using SAS and Relational Databases including Teradata, Snowflake and Oracle
  • Provide production support for scheduled and ad-hoc processes, address job failures, data issues and user concerns
  • Collect, interpret, and aggregate data from traditional and non-traditional data sources for supporting programs and applications utilizing various data analytics purposes
  • Understand data requirements and business needs to develop data tools such as dashboards and data visualizations using SAS and PowerBI
  • Use business intelligence, data visualization, query, analytic and statistical software to build solutions, perform analysis, and interpret data
  • Solve moderately complex problems and translate concepts into practice
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed
  • Recognize problems and make recommendations for solutions
  • Work on agile projects, adhering to the sprint model of work delivery
  • Work under minimal guidance within tight deadlines for deliverables
