About The Position

This position focuses on utilizing data analysis tools and techniques to derive strategic insights from vast amounts of data, driving business results. The role involves strategically aligning data resources to ensure stakeholders have access to necessary information. Key tasks include developing strategies for data control and sharing, creating data mining and analytics architectures, developing tools for data interfacing, analyzing complex datasets to identify patterns, establishing links between data sources, creating data mapping documents, collaborating with development teams and business partners, and providing user training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, statistics or related field and 2 years of equivalent experience
• 2 years of experience manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources.
• 2 years of experience with relational, SQL or other database platforms
• Broad knowledge of reporting and query tools
• Ability to demonstrate excellent people and communication skills.
• Must be highly motivated, self-initiating, and trustworthy.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, statistics or related field or 4 years related experience.
• Familiarity with relational, SQL and NoSQL databases
• 6 plus years of professional related experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer strategies for the control and sharing of organization data resources and services.
• Create data mining and analytics architectures, coding standards, statistical reporting, and data analysis methodologies.
• Develop tools and libraries to help partners work with huge amounts of data.
• Analyze large, noisy datasets and identify meaningful patterns that provide applicable results.
• Establish links across existing data sources and find new, interesting relationships between data sources.
• Create Data Mapping documents between systems to assist Data Engineers write interfaces to extract data from source systems into target systems.
• Work with development team, database administrators, analytics team members and partners to translate prototypes into production.
• Provide training and guidance to User base.
• Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
