This role is responsible for ensuring the collection and tracking of confidential documents related to use of force or allegations of misconduct, including investigative packets and reviews by the Force Review Board and Force Investigation Team. The coordinator will oversee the creation and maintenance of an accurate electronic system for tracking data from force-related documents, vehicle stops, investigatory stops, searches, and other requested information. A key responsibility is developing a protocol for accurate data analysis, identifying trends or practices that enable corrective action within the Division of Police. The role involves reporting data analyses to various stakeholders including the Chief of Police, Police Inspector General, Police Commission, and other units, as well as issuing reports to the Division and the public. The position also requires an annual assessment of forms and the data collection system for accuracy improvement and training other division members in required software programs. Additional duties include working with others to define reporting deliverables, querying databases, compiling data from multiple sources, developing and maintaining custom reports, interpreting data, and providing recommendations. The role also involves continuous assessment and improvement of data collection and reporting processes.
