About The Position

Noblis is seeking an experienced data modeling and reporting specialist to join our Data Analysis and Visualization consulting team. As a specialist, you will be responsible for creating reliable views from undocumented databases and inconsistent datasets related to training, enrollment, scheduling and completion outcomes – all within a dynamic internal college that serves a large organization. In this role, the candidate is expected to work independently while also actively collaborating and supporting teammates through documentation, knowledge-sharing and process improvement.

Requirements

Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain CI Polygraph.
Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience OR Master's degree with 6 years of experience OR PhD with 4 years of experience.
Experience leading a team of four or more in the data science field.
Ability to manage customer data analysis and visualization requirements and distribute to individuals and team for design and development of products and/or dashboards.
Three or more years of experience mentoring and managing individuals career journeys and pathways.
Proficiency with SQL, Tableau and Excel.
Experience with databases and database management tools.
Experience with basic coding and data visualization skills such as: Python and Tableau.
Ability to improvise and adapt open-source software solutions in a network-restricted secure environment.
Demonstrated experience cleaning, transforming, joining and validating data from multiple systems.
Problem solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
Ability to be a self-starter with demonstrated customer support and collaboration expertise.
Ability to brief senior leadership on data visualization findings and recommendations.
US Citizenship is required.

Professional experience with data sets from higher education or adult learning institution.

Responsibilities

Cleaning, joining and preparing data from multiple platforms (e.g., PeopleSoft, Blackboard, Microsoft, Tableau, etc.) to create stable and reliable views from which to build dashboards and all variety of training report requests providing support for strategic client decision making.
Generating data quality and validation reports, dashboard maintenance and innovating automated data prep workflows to integrate datasets for repeatable use.
Advising and developing data strategy.
