We are hiring immediately for a full time DATA ADMIN SPECIALIST position. Location: Canteen - 255 Pinelawn Road, Melville, NY 11747. Note: online applications accepted only. Requirements

  • Prior Microsoft Excel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Removes/resolves incorrect data and fixes errors within a timely manner.
  • Assists with developing and maintaining data and data systems.
  • Performs routine reporting to assess the quality and meaning of data on a daily and or weekly basis and as needed.
  • Quality check of data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and problem solving.
  • Reports Trends that impact both the production team, company, and customers
  • Prepares final reports daily and weekly as needed for the management and production team.
  • Answers the telephone, responds to customer emails and provides general assistance to customers.
  • Reviews and promotes service requests submitted by customers.
  • Provides clerical support; maintain files and records.
  • Prepares routine correspondence, forms, and other documents.
  • Collects, verifies, retrieves, and enters data.
  • Operates standard office equipment.
  • Completes project assignments.
  • Assists in the preparation and verify accuracy of materials for reports and other publications.
  • Interacts effectively with staff, students and faculty while conducting daily workplace duties.
  • Communicates with customers to complete work in a cost-effective, efficient, and safe manner.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
